So I am going crazy with this right now.  I feel like some rounds I play lately I miss a putt from 4-7 feet that is breaking both directions or breaks for no reason even looking at it from chip view front and back.  Kiawah is famous for this on me and I hate the course because of it.  Cabo #2(par 5) does this to me all the time too, about 5 feet below the hole it will show break one way and break the opposite on me so I almost always miss it.  I would much rather take a massive break 5-10 footer than these dumb putts I don't even know which direction it will break.

I've gotten extremely frustrated with this because it can be the difference between a money round and a 1/2 credit round.  Just today I missed that 5 footer at Cabo for birdie which cost me a 29, a 4 footer at Kiawah #2 I believe which cost me a 29, as well as 1-2 others in the few rounds I have played today maybe closer to 10 feet that I am totally clueless on the direction it will break.  I remeber RSG #16?(Par 5) that I had no clue on the break.  Somehow my 50 yard approach backed up 3 yards(which I have never had happen before) for a 9 foot birdie putt and I ended up in the center of a putt that was breaking both directions.  I aimed center and it broke about 1/10 of a cup to the left on me.  I studied it with chip for quite a while but I just was clueless on what it would do and just hoped it would go straight.  I felt like if I had that putt I would do nothing different any other time.

Anyways, my putting isn't really what kills me most of the time as I miss a lot of approach shots whether it be aim, missing the ding or wrong club.  I feel like it's pretty damn good some rounds, but there are these situations that completely stump me sometimes and I have no clue how to fix it.  If I feel I did nothing wrong then it's pretty difficult to fix a problem.

Have you tried using the wedge view before putting? it sometimes gives you a different perspective. Looking at your stats although your putts for different distances look ok your one putt stat is low which makes it seem like you're just not getting your approach shots close enough. Your scramble figures are low too so perhaps you need to practice with the different wedge options, especially the flop. Hope that helps. :-)

Yes I use the flop/chip shot to check the breaks.  My stats may be a bit off as I joined in 2009 and had some horrible stats to fix from the crappy non stopping clubs from back then and have just gotten heavily involved a few months ago.  It was pretty much BPB for me all the time back then, which was nearly impossible to stop any approach with the elevated greens and actually made the US Open on here in 2009 when I was trying hard.  They have been improving rapidly since I got the new driver, irons, and wedges but still not where I want.
