I realize that I am new to WGT. How do I get my scoring average to change? Does this go down after you play? Do I have to play full match to get the average to change? I often see people that are level 15 and lower that are considered armature's or even pro, how is this possible......what do I need to do to change my scoring average? ie what matches do I need to play. All help would be appreciated since I really like this game.

    Thanks in advance

No matches, no Blitz - simple stroke play does the job.

Play ranked (i.e. no practice) rounds and tournaments - there are plenty weeklies and monthlies to learn the game and the courses.

Before starting, go to your inventory and replace the SWING clubs by Starter clubs - they are there for free and help for a better game.

So your saying that my scores will be better if I use the starter clubs v the swing meter clubs?

Yes, provided you can hit the "ding" approximately. I am safe to say that no good score is possible with the SWING clubs. They are the easiest of course, but they are very unprecise. As an example, you can easily miss a simple short putt with the SWING putter.

Thank you for your advise, When you say hit the "ding" could you explain....I have read on other threads about this. Are you talking about the line for the perfect shot on the meter? Please excuse my simple questions....I really want to make my experience better.

    Thanks again

Ranked rounds is the only way to lower your avg. And don't forget they must be finished.

Yes - it's due to the sound "dinging" when you hit an "excellent" shot - not with SWING clubs obviously :)
