I wanted to replace my PW, SW and LW with the Cleveland wedges and successfully added to 60 and 64 to may bag ... but i can't replace my PW!?!?

    There goes 495 credits...

Pretty certain that in "real" golf you can equip your bag as you see fit, as long as you don't exceed the max # of clubs (i.e., Driver, 3W, 5W, 1i, 3i, 5i, 6i, 7i, 8i, 9i, PW, SW, LW, Putter)

Would have been nice to know at purchase time i was throwing away money by buying 3 wedges, one of which i can't equip...ever?

Think about this. If you already have 14 clubs in your bag and know that that's the limit, how are you trying to equip that wedge? Adding it as a 15th? DOH!.  ;-)

It sounds like you might be trying to replace the set wedge. Unfortunately, unlike RL,  iron sets here can't be broken up. Replacing that HB with that third wedge like Film said is the way to go.

... once you have obtained a longer iron set.

Three wedges are only of any help when they cover the gap below the iron-set's PW, equally distant as good as it can be.
