  I play the 81+ G20 and its a decent club . Also its the same speed as your driver , which is good . But really its up to you .I cant say about r11 , so maybe you may want to rent each one , for a weekend , and then decide. Hope this helps . Happy Swinging

  Here is a good thread about this question. The consensus seems to be the R11 has a slightly higher trajectory and therefore lands a little softer.

  The L88 R11 edges it IMO, BUT is UNFORGIVING.  I don't think it's as bad some say but I put it in bold so you know it and look in to it.  Many threads on this with opinion's on several option's - have a good look.  I have the R1 now but the R11 (basic) I was 86% fways but some hate it for the meter speed and unforgiving nature.  Personally I think it's replacement should be due with the forgiveness of what comes later but................Loads thread son all of it:) 

  L85 3 wood is excellent.  More stopping power than anything below it.

  At lvl 89, wait to lvl 90 and get R11-irons,R11-3w and driver u can get now, just be aware the irons have a faster meter than G20, takes awhile to get used to it, a good way to do that is take a practice on par 3's use the starterballs, then you'll find the speed easy when you use your normal ball!!
