Im funny? My scores as a TM were mid 60s now they are 70 plus..yes 10-40 yards per drive would help big time.Iappretiate yo doing well with the equipment I have but the over fast irons and short driver don't help me too much..at 94 I can get the max irons, but waitin till 98 for a driver a crapload of 93 ranked folk have..suxxxxxxxx

Where do you figure 40 yards from?

I went from the R11 to the R1...10-12 yards maybe in the right conditions...40 yards no way.

Play the R11 irons, much better suited from the Champ tees.

I'm not sure that someone with a 34% one putt stat should be too worried about a new driver.

FWIW, i agree that there should be more choices available to Legend + players above lvl 90 ..  there are untold many threads addressing this issue .. new clubs coming out soon according to the mods .. where they'll land lvl wise remains to be seen ..

u could always try the lvl88 R11 D .. i often out drive guys with R11s and sometimes even the R1 .. gotta be close to ding though cause she's an unforgiving mistress  ..

It's not even level 88 now. They dropped the R11 driver back to level 86 last week when they introduced the level 89 SLDR driver.

The big gun can help on some par 5's and par 4's, that is with the right wind and the right bounce. I have had the cannons since day one making Legend. I have failed to master my short game and my putting. My long irons are a little better than average but again that is only part of distance. I was playing 2 TP's and a master in an AS the other night. They were amazed at my 340-350 yard drives. Their 280 still went past me and their approach shots were amazing. I had no reason to be proud of my long drives. I truly believe it makes no difference how big your stick is, it's what you do after wards.

Or not how big your stick is, but how you wiggle it.
