    anybody on here play with a magic trackpad?

    was wondering if its worth getting one because my apple wireless mouse keeps dropping connection and its annoying :)

    not sure if a trackpad would be any good because of the click..any advise would be appreciated

    When you said Imac I thought you were referring to the defoliant cream. ;-)

    I really stuggled with the trackpad. don't think i dinged one shot, but who knows may work different for you.

    Besides looking cool while you play I don't think it would work that well for this game since I would bet that the polling rate is rather low.  You might experience a pause from when you tap the trackpad and when the meter stops and this pause would mostly likely be inconsistent.  Sometimes the meter may stop almost instantly when you touch the trackpad and sometimes the difference between when you tap the trackpad and when the meter stops could be large and will only lead to frustrations.

    I have never used one but I have a macbook and have tried playing using the built in touchpad and it sucks. I just went and tried it again now and when I tapped the trackpad the meter stopped well after the first vertical line after the ding and my ball almost went OB. I can't imagine that the technology between the two is that different.

    I think a cheap wired mouse would be best. A lot less hassle.

     Yes, I agree with Courteney, I use a wired Logitech optical mouse...works just fine. :)

    i bought the apple wired mouse and its a load of old bull :) so bought a razor mouse,still didnt like the feel..

    its just my apple wired mouse is dropping connection all the time,no idea why, its been ok for 2 years..
