I had my eye on the L83 G20s, but now am having mixed thoughts.  Should I opt for the Bladez?  Better spin/distance, but faster swing meter...

    Decisions, decisions..

    Thoughts anyone?

According to those more  knowledgeable than myself, the level 79 RocketBladez generally present more/better scoring opportunities than the G20s.  The drawback is, as you said, a slightly faster meter.

If you'd like you can read more thoughts on the subject here: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/188722.aspx?PageIndex=2

+1 all above with the thread in mind to.

Also look at the rest of your bag.  Your driver is due an upgrade, and only 2 wedges from the tips is making things hard work.

I would maybe wait til next downtime just in case, but no longer if me.

+1 . I have had both sets of clubs , and prefer the 79+ bladez over the the G20s . I also agree about the upgrading your driver , and getting a 3rd wedge . So ditch the hybrid , and add another wedge . Then try another ball , if needed .The 79+ bladez , will only require a ball with 1-2 dots of feel to handle the meter speed . For that , I use the level 11+ Srixon balls . At 180 credits a sleeve , they are a good buy , and they play fairly well . In fact , they are as good as the lower level Cally balls , at lower cost. Hope this helps . Happy Swinging :-)

If you use a decent meter slowing ball, e.g. Nike RZN or Cally slow meter, definitely go for Bladez - much better precision, higher trajectory. There is almost no chance to win tourneys at Legend+ level (particularly low wind ones) with G20 - too imprecise, unless you are super lucky :)

Trust me! Go with the bladez...BUT DO NOT miss the ding with the wind by more than a hair, missing into the wind is not as punishing as with......

I've found it is OK to miss the ding on the wind side with the Bladez

The key is to play for the wind to affect the ball. If you hit the ding... you have about 5-10 feet for bird. If you hit the ding a bit on the wind side... you still have 5-10 feet for bird, just on the other side of the hole
