Tonight it hit me I will never shoot a perfect round...I have had a few low ones but never birdied every hole,,,

After a good 1st round at Kiwiah I go back for the 2nd and blow up, just stupid lapses in concentration...so it is late but I decide to try RSG tournament 1 more time....

long story short I lip out my eagle putt on the par 5 but still get to 18 with a birdie on every hole, so I give myself a pep talk before I hit the approach after a good drive, naturally I pull the approach because I choked but still have 25 ft putt fairly straight uphill for the round...the worst I'm gonna do is par for a 27 which would be my best round in the tournament after about 30 tries lol...so I power up....let it gooo........and I get a pop up saying "this tournament is over< you failed to finish your round in time" {{{{{{AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH}}}}}}}}} YOU DIRTY @^^#%$&@^#%%$&^&%^^%@#$%

Oh well, that's my rant...I wish I had'nt stopped to take a whizzz on #15...

I barely made it in time in the 9-Hole RSG tourney...but it was the round of my career thus far: 9 circles. Didn't have an eagle putt on the par 5 as it was right into the wind. But that meant almost all the long 4's were downwind, which helped my round. I was rushing the whole time, so maybe there's something to be said for not over-analyzing every shot..just lining up and hitting it!

note: it says 'Legend' but I entered the tourney as a TM.

You had a different setup than I did then, every hole was 0 wind for me, nothing to analyze except low or high spin...I did get the distances on the wedges dialed in which is what I wanted to do as it is the weakest part of my game right now...

Weird, I thought conditions would be the same across the tiers for a given tournament. The wind was between 14 and 21 every hole, for every round of the tourney for TMs. I didn't even know that no wind rounds existed until I played this weeks Free Multiround at STA.

The conditions do sometimes vary between tiers in the same tournament. The strange thing to me on no wind tournys is why do they show a direction in which the wind isn't blowing?

Never played a round with no wind, however wind in most tournament is complete random it can make 2-3 shots difference (or more). In a 9 hole ready-go I once got headwind on every single hole.

Never managed a perfect round either,  I have managed -8 several times and a -15 over 18. On RSG back 9 I got 27 (-8) in a RG (the only one I won since Legend) I missed the 1st by a fraction but picked up an eagle but on final hole hit the bunker in the center of the fairway that was a good chance.

A few days ago I got -8 in a group game on ST A F9, hole 4 - the putt horseshoed the cup, closes I have comet to a perfect round and that was with a Srixon level 11 ball.
