PIng G20 is good driver. It is not much faster swing speed than basic driver. I rented it first. New driver makes a massive difference to your game.

Now, play till level 41 and buy two short wedges, those Pings are affordable and good quality.

You dont play in real life do ya ? He means wedges short on yardage for your short game and making shots around the green. 50 yd wedge 60 yd wedge etc etc .....

actually I do. I have a pitching wedge and a 60degree wedge in real life and my handicap is a 14. It seems like what is offered here for you to buy is a range from I think 52-64 degree wedges. So I was hoping they would specify what degree wedge they were referring to. As unlike real life when I am around the green in heavy rough I often will hit the ball for zero yards.

I've found the trick on those shots is to use a full or punch shot. I usually end up past the hole but better than a wasted stroke that goes nowhere.

    This!

I usually reference the clubs by their nominal length, this counts on the course, while the degrees are only numbers.

There are different steps in the wedge sets of different brands, one is 50 - 75/77 - 100 yds, another is 60 - 80 - 100 yds.

The shorter two of these replace the Starter wedges of 50/70 and are a key to better short play and better scores, having better performance in all shot variants. The 100 is an option to close the gap to custom iron sets with longer PWs (drop the hybrid or 3WD to get space in the bag).

If credits aren't a subject I'd propose the ATVs (50/77 yds), the budget variant are the Pings mentioned.
