Everything else in WGT seems to have a chime or something.  But the one I would like and use most it doesn't have:  a chime when you get an invite to play a game.

If you aren't LOOKING at the Invite tab to see if the green light comes on, you don't realize you have a game invite.  I would LOVE to know, without staring at it.

If you have the game client open then you get a noise.

Wow ... light bulb!  I honestly never thought of that.  Thanks Courteney!  : )

No, I don't.  I get tones as I move my mouse over friends, and other stuff, all sorts of in game sounds, and yes I have music muted.  I want to read a book or listen to music while waiting for an invite, not stare at the screen for 10 or 20 minutes.

Check your options to see if you have them switched off.

I have invitation alerts audio switched on.  It only seems to work for friend invitations when I am actually playing a game.

Even if I have the game client OPEN, if I'm not actually playing a game, there is no tone.

Honestly, I wish I could turn off all the tones that occur as your mouse goes across a link.  And if your mouse drifts over a link while you are doing something else, it will beep incessantly at you until you move the mouse.
