  Hey WGT...I was just wondering why you don't offer the new Callaway Hex Chrome balls with COLORED vapor trails?...I'm sure you would sell a lot more of them if you did...I know I would like to have them with a blue vapor trail...how about it WGT?

  PS...is there anyone else who would like to see these balls, with a colored vapor trail, available to purchase in the Pro Shop?

  Only if they were cheaper to me, and vapor trails are charged for..........

  Doesn't matter what price they start at, 50 credits for a vapor trail, IMO what a waste of credits!!

  As much use as a bag, l bet you own one of those too!!

  I contacted WGT about the possibility of making a yellow Hex Chrome, since they are available in real life, and their response was it wasn't going to happen.

   

  Colored vapor trails I guess would be the closest thing to it.  Not that I ever liked the vapor trail much.   Vapor trails just help your opponent read the wind if you hit your approach shot first.  ;-)

  I've never understood the value of the vapor trail. What does it do to improve one's game? When playing alone I'll sometimes look at shots with the replay and I see the vapor trail there but during regular play, I can't see the value. What am I missing?

  For some people it's just for entertainment value. For others like me, who don't see as well as we used to, it helps us follow the ball in flight when we can't see it otherwise.

  It may not help how well we play the game game but it can help our enjoyment of the game play. Sometimes it's fun when playing with friends to have one trash talk "Where is that one going?" before the ball even comes down. Just like some of us do on a real-life course.

  For me it's not worth the price every day but I keep a few vapor balls for those types of games with close friends.

  Thanks. I hadn't really thought of the trash talk with friends angle at all. I can see how it would add to the enjoyment and some laughs.
