Currently no driving range, but if you do a practice round you can use the mulligan option and you will be able to practice your shots.

For dialing in your irons Bethpage #9, #10 & #11 are good, quite flat and wide, just go to practice, select low wind and then hit in opposite directions and average out for your distance. Remember to plot distance in the air and then roll, and use no spin, back spin and top spin as a minimum. The new Mulligan makes this process a lot less of a pain.

But please be aware the 'mulligan' feature uses a further two strokes off your durability just for the pleasure and the 'hit' itself, totalling three!!

True, but that would be EXACTLY the same total hits if you hit the ball back and tried again.

    e.g.
    Mulligan Option
    Hit 1 - fairway
Take Mulligan from EXACT same position and wind etc 2hits
    Total hits 3

    'Normal' option
    Hit 1 - fairway
Hit 2 - back to approximate position 1
    Hit 3 - fairway
    Total hits 3

    Not the same then!

With all due respect CJ, hitting back to where it was originally, you cant guarantee!!

I agree entirely, and that was the point I was trying to make. i.e. the cost of a mulligan is exactly the same as a normal 'return' but without the guarantee of getting to the same place.

I think it would be cool to have the choice of what ball you hit during the practice round after using a mulligan.

That way you can compare ball types from the same lie/wind etc.

Of course, it would have to be a ball you have in your inventory.
