Is this driver any longer at 9 degrees than level 81 G20 10.5? Rated 2 yrds longer but my other TM driver was rated 275 and that was a bad drive as it ended up...

I play the game on a 21" monitor, w/ the browser gamepage just big enough to allow a calculator and wind chart to set next to it for easy viewing...

well yesterday I put it on full screen for a couple of rounds, then tried to go back to smaller screen and frankly, I don't know how I even played the game on it lol....

so I went downstairs and got out a even bigger monitor and man does this change the game...meter is slower(too slow really, might hafta change balls) in relation to other screen, easy to see everything, easier to align putts after you adjust to size difference and spacing...

I don't like the forgiveness of the R11 but it would make all of my irons, wedges, 3w, and driver the same swing meter speed...which would seem important to me....

The R11 is light years ahead of the G20. It may only be rated 2 yards longer than the G20 but due to the better trajectory it is more like 6 or so and it clears many obstacles that the G20 would hit. And hit the ding or a near ding and the lower forgiveness is a moot point.

I found the R11 to a better game improvement club for me over the G20.  The G20 seemed to go farther in to a strong head wind with top spin than the R11, but overall the R11 won by a clear head.  The complaint used to be that it was so unforgiving and the forgiving longer version was a ludicrously long gap away at L95 (540,000 XPs later). I agreed with that complaint.

Happily that situation is all sorted, and at L86 the R11 may well have some relevance for eager players.  Nearly all will want to replace it with the excellent SLDR at L89 (104,000 XPs later), and won't be sorry to see it go for the lack of forgiveness.

For all it's sins it is a real Legend driver and can contribute to excellent scores, and nothing later is game changing compared to it. Don't ignore the forgiveness issue though. I never found that as bad as some who hated it, but it's there.

thanks for the info guys....I planned on buying the sldr when available but I like the fact that the R11 would make all clubs the same swing meter speed...if I don't like it I'll sell it.

I kinda hit the wall playing so much, hard to stay focused enough to score well so I have been playing a LOT less...100,000 xp's is a looooong way  off at this rate lol.

At least there's something on the horizon.  I went from L95 to 96 yesterday.  I'm currently at 1,294,120 XP and L97 is at 1,513 144 and there isn't even anything new there.  Next thing to unlock is the regular R1 at L98 but I bought the Black when it was available.

Oh well, I guess I won't be going shopping for a while.  If ever.

Couldn't agree more. Those extra few yards are well worth the credits. I trashed my G20 after using the R11 for less than an hour. Now, I think it's been 2 full weeks with the club and it's amazing the corners that I can cut that just weren't quite possible with the Ping. Also - as mentioned above, the difference in forgiveness is very, very little...
