In my humble opinion BM, I think it would be a good move to acquire a better putter. There are plenty available to you at your level which have better meter increments than the starter putter.

Ultimately this was the plan all along, but I was hoping to improve at being able to read the greens as well.  Tuesday I finally went ahead and picked up the level 70 Odessy, and pretty much immediately I started to see results.  My very first round with it in the bag was a full 18 on the best of Par 3.  I sank a 9.5 foot Bird on Whistler #10, a 14 foot Bird at St Andrews #8, a 2.1 foot Bird at Whistler #16, and a 13 foot Bird at Cabo Lucas #17.  I had a 15 foot birdie attempt at Congressional #10 that just barely missed, a 17 foot birdie attempt at St George 16 lipped out because I hit it just a tic or two too hard, and I had par saves of 7.7 feet on Kiawah 17 and 15 feet on Olympic #3. So even though the round started out pretty well, I closed out with 3 straight 3 putts to finish with +1 or 2 IIRC.  Once I have a better feel for avatar movements and distance control, and I start using GI-S or GI2-S to help control the meter, I really think I'm going to like this putter.

Word of caution here. I've used avatar movements since Day 1 and love using them. It makes getting to an exact place in the swing consistently very easy. What you have to be careful with is getting that move exact. Watch how much the meter moves when you pass a move and then back up to it. To get it right you should pass the move, cancel it and "sneak" up on it. Picture waggling the putter.  :-)

This is my putter also.  Great for missing the ding or aiming.
