I just saw this announcement to me during a game...4000 fairways hit...I sure wish I could putt!

I know the feeling.  I just missed a 5 footer for Par on the 17th at St Andrews, and missed a 7 footer for Bird on 18 as well.  I was already +2 after 16 so it was never going to be a good round anyways, but anytime I miss a makable putt inside of 10 feet it really gets frustrating.

Well played, I had to check to see if I had it, turned out I do.

Does the Ace Master award need you to get a hole in one with each pin location?  I have an ace on both St. Andrews par 3 holes but don't have the award.

    Just a few guesses:

This(?), or aces at the original pins only(?), or it may be broken like some other awards(?)

I know what you mean, SweetiePie.

I've hit nearly 6000 fairways, but can I putt? No. I'm getting worse.

I've just taken 22putts on front nine of St Georges. Missing everything, even short 3 footers. They just don't want to drop. I seem to be pulling them, so I try to correct it and then it falls on the low side. I'm losing my confidence on putts and putting is all about confidence.

I hope my poor form doesn't go on for much longer. Just got to stick with it.

How true Jason. My putting requires me to do what I dislike...super focus & attention to detail plus many looks. I play super fast, always have, and I must proceed very slowly to putt well...I prefer one look and boom...the ideal recipe for missing what should drop.

Way to go on your 6000 fairways!

I'm quite a fast player too. When you've played the holes so many times, you have a lot more than me, then you expect to hole the putts you have seen before. However, I think we might get too complacent, which is probably one of the worse things you can do in golf.
