I do not understand the path the ball takes. I line up the shot in the middle of the fairway, there is a 3 MPH crosswind blowing to the left, but my ball lands in the right rough? I am using EZSwing clubs, so there should be no hook or slice.

Those are the worst clubs in your bag to use. Change then all to the regular starter clubs that are in there as well. You'll see a improvement right away.
You would be doing yourself an enormous favour Steve by not using the EZ swing clubs at all. Load up the starter set instead, they give you much more control.

Don't expect too much presision from these, too. They are meant to wet a noob's appetite - gourmet lunches and good clubs require further input to pay for the etablissements :)
