  if i hit  50% on 60 yard cleve wedge how long it go. No wind , No elevation.

  What i am trying to find is that what is the efficiency as u get lower down when u hitting club.

  My club is 115 cleve and if i want to hit exact 100 how much i have to hit ? 90% or 92% or 95%? 

  Is the efficiency is logrithmic?.

  hi

  more generic answer would be something like:

  hitting 50% power on a wedge will not make it fly 50% of rated distance. it's best to try and see how much it does fly and then compensate.

  try a punch shot, my 100 yd Cleveland punches 84 yrds, 80 yrd punches 68 and 60 yrd 50.

  well by the math 50%of 60 is 30 but that is not the case on wgt you will have to go to a practice round and see what it will do from the fairway  your 115 wedge you will have to hit 87% on the power meter but there again wgt is not allways right

  Logarithmic is the wrong word, what u r asking is the club linear.

  Well it is the closest to linear u will get.

  So as said above 75% power will give u 66% distance, and that ratio works basically for all 3 cleveland wedges.

  I hit 60% power on the 64º wedge for 30 yards - no spin required.  ( Full shot )

  Below that distance, I use chips, picthes and flops.

  Never forget: a flop from the fringe will skid 6 - 8 feet further than what u expect.

  So e.g. a 12 yard flop from the fringe is normally 75% from the fairway, from the fringe I hit between 70 and 72 %, full BS
