  I do this all the time, it has never had any effect on my meter. I quite often play mp3's too without any effect. Modern processors can quite easily cope with simple tasks like this.

  Thanks for the reply Born and the advise is good. As long as I keep an eye on my cpu gadget and don't let it get over 25% when I take a swing its fine. Running 3.3 ghz quad with 16 gb ram & 6970 2gb vid card, I still have to be careful tho.
