  SHRUDE:

  I can understand the  official rules'  for WGT tournaments, RGs etc, but not for matchplay and Altshot or any 'practice' play either.

  Why should they spend extra work & money for a second set of less official rules?

  Yep. One set of rules applied to all WGT games.
