I found these forums (isn't it just one by the way? LOL) a few days ago and just wanted to say hello to everybody playing this lovely game. It seems to reproduce many of the feelings and up-/downswings of real life golf and stuns with outstanding graphics. However I consider the increasing equipment abilities model (apart from the obviously necessary gain in length) to be quite strange and - apart from the obviously necessary earnings for WGT - unnecessary (lots of necessities there). Although I only bought few clubs to this moment, I already consider to switch back to my initial clubs from time to time as they seem to reflect the real golf (at least the one I play, please don't be harsh to me) way better. I saw some good players here play high-spin-shots and with a constant accuracy that is beyond anything realistic. Is there any group of players around here who would like to play with basic equipment on a regular basis? Maybe this idea already exists, but i couldn't find it with my limited abilities, in that case I apologize.
