  I have had this in games to where some players have the Gimme option activate and others don't. I believe that in order to play fair in all games the gimme option should be an option set up so that the game host can either include it or no as they wish. Personally I believe in competitive matches it should no be an option.

  The 'Gimme' option is apparently available to lower tier players in multi-player ranked rounds.

  I have many times seen a message on my screen that say "(player) took a gimme" and we move on to the next hole.

  hi fuuny because ive just finished multiplayer tracked game and oponeny was taking gimmie not only 3ft from hole but even 9ft from the hole .this is stupid its nearly cost me my game.should be available that stupid gimmie at all.thx

  In a 4 person stroke game,we had a hack take a 10 foot gimmie.

  In practice skins games with other players regardless of the length of the putt I do not get the "pop up" gimme option while my opponents do.   I used to get it before the update a couple of weeks ago when it appeared as a small  box just under the hole info that said "take a gimme", on the top right of the screen, but now I do not get the new larger box "go ahead and take it away" or the old one either.

  To make matters more confusing....I do get the "go ahead and take it away" option on practice stroke play games....but not the skins games.

  That didn't take long....played a practice skins game this morning...and there the "go ahead take it away" screen popped up....

  games....ive played in  many games where an opponent as used gimme on every green...from ridiculous distances...absolute pointless feature

  there are no gimmes in golf except i believe in match play  you can concede the hole. How can you play a skins match and let the computer win the skin for you or stroke play and save par by taking a 3ft. gimme thats not a person to person match thats a three way between u your opponent and the computer   NO GIMMES
