This has nothing to do with playing better golf and some of you may well know this but since I only just discovered it I thought I'd share it with everyone.

You know when you replay a shot during a round and then copy the link from the share replay tab?  When you link to that URL in the forums it always goes first to a window with click here to watch the replay in it. Replays you have saved in your profile open directly, much nicer.

Well, when you're composing a post and have the link inserted, click on preview, click the link and then on Click here to watch replay on the page that opens.  If you then copy the URL from that replay and use it as the URL in your post it will open directly, there is no in-between window.

It sounds a faff but only takes a few seconds and makes watching replays easier for everyone else.

Nice info post Mainz. Was aware of that but I'm sure lots of folks don't know so it's always good to share the knowledge.

EDIT: It's nice too if the HTML anchor tag opens the link in a new tab, but that's another story.

    Thanks Mainz,

    I didn't know that

tbh I get replays in my email that I hardly if ever watch because that is in a different browser.

Nice to know, Mainz, but the indirect "watch replay" path is easier for me. In my Firefox, it will access the game window if open, repecting running games etc.

The direct link will open a new game window, resulting in a "no double windows possible" error. I'd have to close my current game window quickly to avoid it, and I'm gonna lose the size settings which I made to the former one.
