I've had my only Double Eagle hitting from the rough on the 5th at St.A and I usually hit better shots outa the Low Rough than Fairway shots....lol

If the Op is getting into trouble alot, then it's a good time to experiment with new shots.

    Just Saying

To the OP's real question: All the regular 18 hole stroke play courses (as far as I know)  were added as US Open or British Open courses in the year said Open was played at the course. WGT did all their on-course work ( photos, terrain mapping, etc. )with the course in question set as if for Open play, Rough conditions and location, and pin positions are same as the actual Open players experience.

Green speeds and tees are easier (except for top tier WGT players) to make things more competitive for all tiers, But not rough, lol!

If you want easy on-line golf, WGT is probably not worth your time.
