Instead of these cookie cutter Avatars why not offer a construction kit that allows you to assemble a basic body (tall, short, skinny, rotund, etc. Choose hair color, haircut, beard. THEN - WTG can SELL clothing and golf shoes in LOTS of styles and color (at modest prices of course) ... This would add some variety to the LOOK of the game AND offer the Player some alternatives to the "same old thing" ... ???

Yeah, hat's are a good example ... I'd pay 10 or 20 credits for a bill cap ... If WTG has a good marketing rep, he can probably get a BUNCH of companies to PAY to get their Logos displayed on hats and shirts. How about  Sun Visors & Sun Glasses too? Maybe a Walkman? Lets dump the Barbie and Ken dolls ...

Something could probably be worked out for a reasonable price with some of the retired athletes who play the big tournament in Lake Tahoe every year.

By the 3rd hole I wouldn't notice if my avatar turned into a 3 headed monster. Can't say I pay any attention to it at all.

That's part of my point ... The Avatars are so BORING that they don't serve much purpose ... Individualizing them would definitely attract SOME attention and enhance the game ... Mixing and matching clothing and accessories could express individuality and call attention to the PEOPE playing the game ... The options available are just repetitive clones.
