SwingingRoofer:
so with the way I putt shoot before lines move?
Roger that, Roofer! WGT rewards smooth play and timing with better forgiveness, assuming decent competitive club set.
I try to stick with a routine:
1. make the distance calculation (applied power).
2, adjust aiming point to your chosen initial putting line.
3. verify correct putter scale (ALWAYS) and get a visual lock on meter % for distance you've calculated.
4 SMOOTHLY apply that back-stroke, hold for 2-3 sec (say 'SwingingRoofer' to pace that pause).
5 release the putting stroke and immediately shift gaze to ding line (or chosen point before or after Ding line, if you favor an off-ding style to help manage big breaks as I do).
6. slap that target spot when the meter gets there with your trigger finger.
7. listen for that delicious sound of ball in cup.
