JMO but what is not mentioned is forgiveness means it will not go as far offline missing the ding but you still lose distance when you do...that and you could develop the habit of not trying to be as precise as possible which affects all of your clubs...I having played with a couple of the forgiving drivers think you hit more fairways because of the meter speed not the forgiveness... I prefer the faster meter because I can't wait on the slower ones and hit way more errant drives lol.

Referring back to the difference in loft of the two clubs, does anyone have any figures on the actual flight distance of either club? Actual carry distance is a consideration on some holes when you;re trying to cut a dogleg over a fairway trap.

I assume the lower lofted club doesn't carry as far but rolls out a little more to give the same overall distance rating. Any figures on that angle?

the New xhot carries about 290 in no wind with full bs, and rolls 10 , 3/4 spin carries 285 and rolls up to 300.(nike 48 )

That is on the flat beth #10 , it was going 310-315 in sidewind on st. G

It is longer than my old xhot ,I was avg about 298-300 with that one.

in all I think it is a 4 yards longer , only tried it for 48 hours though.

But it has 4½ precision , and that is the biggest difference from the old xhot.

    Very happy with it !!

I have had a few alts with guys that had r11 and the sldr, both with nike's and I was outdriving them both.

the only driver that is going further so far is the r1 , but the gap is only by a few yards now , compard to the old one, that would be 10 yards short.
