Maybe they are arguments already discussed, but I started few months ago to play more often the CTTH and I have some doubts:
1) Why WGT give us so few points for playing this tournaments? If you play 9 holes u get abt 224 points of experience, a 18holes round bring to you around 500 points, a CTTH 14 points only?!?! In a CTTH you made 9 shots, in a 9holes round an average of 17shots and in 18 holes about 34 shots, i.e. in 9holes you shot not even the double shots of a CTTH, but gain 16 time the points of a CTTH!!! In 18 holes you shots 2,5 time than a CTTH but gain 35 time points than with a CTTH!! Absurd, I think. In this conditions I'm not interested in playing CTTH.
2) Furthermore, in a SWEEPS (i.e. the 90% of the CTTH offered) the prizes are only 1.500 WGT credits for all the partecipants, while in a normal TOURNAMENT the prizes are around 13.000 credits total. Another good reason for not playing CTTH.
3) Last question: if you score well in a round u won't play it anymore, normally. In a CTTH you are always pushed to try to ameliorate yr score, for reaching the best score that's, in theory, always possible to lower until 9 aces!, so u play much more time a CTTH round than a 9holes round and use a lot of balls. But u get always very few points of experience.
Could WGT balance this situation and if not, why do you keep it running?
May thanks, byeee
