Slow loads and meter problems..are caused to me by the same thing,too many cookies on your browser..to many of them will hurt the performance of this game,they should be cleared after every so many rounds you play and your game will eventually run well and smooth always..I am typing this post as this solution worked well for me and I clear the cookies on my browser about every 7 or 8 rounds played or when I see slow loads start coming up more and more..I do not get slow loads,meter problems or any other problems for that matter now but if and when you follow this tip remember it takes a few rounds before your browser will configure for how you want it to be it is not instant where you do it once and all is solved.
There are a couple of ways to clear the cookies,one is to go to your main home page,go to tools and there should be a way to clear the cookies but you may have to look for it as all browsers are different but if you cannot find it just type in a question to you computer and also put in what browser you are using,you will instantly get answers and help for that question from many people,another way you can do it is to go to your control panel,find internet options on the list then right or left click mouse on it and it will ask you if you want a shortcut.click yes..the short cut is now on your desktop,then at any time if you need to clear the cookies you minimize the golf screen click on that internet short cut.on the general tab you will see a delete thing on it..click it and it will ask what you want to delete,check mark the boxes that you want..you want..cookies.. so put a check mark in the cookies box make sure no others are marked as it will clear all the ones you have marked,then click delete..it will start clearing them.and stop when done,meantime you then maximize golf screen again and just continue on with your round and the cookies thing will stop by it self when finished,but on your next round you will have to re enter your name and password to reinstate your stats and profile,I do hope this helps all who use it..take care
