Perhaps you are mixing up credits and XPs (eXperience Points)?

Playing and sharing results brings no "money" = credits. The only sources are shown in the "get credits" menu in the top line on the browser: buy credits, buy sponsored items, view videos, take part in surveys.

When viewing videos, you'll have to redeem the credits for so-and-so views.

And, with good equipment and good skills, you may win credits in tourneys and challenge matches - good luck and beware of the sharks!

On the top line there is a menu for 'Get Credits'. Put mouse cursor there and a drop down menu, click free credits. Then on the window that opens, select one of the items and perform the functions required. Be sure to read the small print on eack one you select before doing. You will end up earning this free credits and by working at it can earn enough to buy all you heart desires from the Pro shop.

Ok, how does this work....I completed a task for 8000 credits, and the thing says "updates instantly" but it didn't. Now what?

Personally I have not seen a offer for that value, but to earn $80 worth of  credits  I assume you need to spend a lot via the offer of jump through burning hoops with the army training, shooting at the hoops using live ammunition.

But with all offers take screenshots throughout the process so you can then go back to the company the offer is through.

The old adage - there is no such thing as a free lunch.

That said WGT should be more accountable for these  rouge  companies that have bogus offers.
