Can I just start by saying to the makers of this game that you do work hard and you are appreciated. That said I have a few problems I thought I would write down I've been playing this game nine days or so and I'm on the level of 33 which classes me as a pro. That saves I've just completely 18 holes I was 21 over par so I think your levels are not correct as I think a pro would not shoot 21 over par. I think the power bar should be changed as to heat a straight shop with a little line to get is rather hard and I think you should make it wider. As you know from my message in the forum about the party there is no space for error which for me is annoying and as I write this am thinking not to come back and play this game again I have already left A country club quite joined. I know there be some people that will jump on the bandwagon and start having ago at me about what I have written. And yes I think the game is good but the makers need to change a few things and do it quickly and need to change help to get credit as I've seen there is a lot of cheeks how to get loads of money and buy all the quality clubs you need for this game which for one I believe those people are only cheating themselves and I would never cheat myself. So please do not have a go at me be constructive as this is just my view and I am only one lonely man.

    All the best

PS if anybody would like to message me and have a chat about what I've said privately then please don't I am open to listening to anybody thank you.

Where to start.......possibly using paragraphs might help!

The tiers are not based on levels, but on scores - and are just reflective of your ability. They are not accurate as they are based on x number of games, and the best scores over that tier. Pros usually do not shoot 21 over - but occasionally they do.  Conversely  PGA tour players do not shoot 21 under, as happens in this game.

The meter (an you have a choice of meter types) are the same for everyone. As you will see by players scores, this game can be mastered but this takes practice and dedication, and then a lot more practice.

You do not need to spend copious quantities of money, even with starters kits you can still score pretty well from Pro tees.

The key is how much you learn, and how well you learn the courses, the shot types and the attributes of your clubs,

Obviously the game is easier with better clubs, but enjoyment is personal - set your own goals, as  enjoyment  is a subjective thing.

Read the forums for tips and hints, then take notes as you play, and with a lot of practice you will improve.

This is a great game, but it is not easy to learn in 5 minutes - if it was we would all be long gone.

    Alan

ps if you want a game at some stage, and I am green, just invite me and we can talk through the shots.

There are 8 tiers and you've reached the 3rd one. I  wouldn't worry about it and just enjoy the game.

    Honestly:

Is this game designed to be played "for free"? No. The company wants our money.

Will they gift you credits to get equipment for free? No. There is no free lunch. It costs your time at least.

Is money necessary to keep the game going? Yes. Liza says: "Money makes the world go round"

Do players get money? No. $$ shown are a fake. See T&Cs: all credits are owned by he company, no refund.

Is it fun to play? Sure it is, with the correct attitude. Which is not "I want everything for free, and gain a fortune from it!"

    my2cents-

with the video online game business being so robust overall- WGT is the best play value and all the elements of real golf being critical to the thought process and Zen of "real" golf- I have played many, not all golf games and WGT- has struck with an interesting business model so far- and provided me hours of enjoyment at a fair price- once you have hi-speed internet - the cost to play is negligible- although like in real golf- them that got- get- and you can easily drop a quick $100 to get the best upgrades that WGT has to offer- and then it's basically $- 4 balls to buy (and get the key benefits from upgraded golf balls)- just like when we play "real" golf-- all of which ($-upgraded clubs and balls ) can make a huge difference in your enjoyment of the game- admittedly.
