Well, with the free rental days provided by WGT (thank you by the way) I was able to try out a couple of other putters I was curious about.

But sadly, apparently all of the putters are bent because I couldn't make any more putts than I do with my current Max putter.

    A shame they're all defective.

I can't blame the putter, I can't blame the ball, I'm running out of things to blame.  I just can't figure it out.

    Dear Iggy,

I am pleased you never blame yourself as, like me, blame can never be attributed to me. But I find the ex-wife, kids, dogs or cats are usually to blame for missing any shot.

But today I played a game and missed a few putts because my playing partner was more than just sweet eye candy, she was smart and a lot of fun...........but I would never dare blame her lol, damned pussie...................................cat that is.

Simple Iggy ... your avatar moves his head every time he swings the putter .  He needs to listen (not look) for the ball to drop.

Now the problem I've found with men ... they all suffer from "S"elective "H"earing and "I"nterim "T"une-out "S"yndrome.  In the US, we love acronyms ... for your convenience, I quoted the letters that make up said acronym.

Edit:  Be sure to precede said  acronym with the definite article "the" ... will appear more syntactically correct.

    You got that wrong Iggy!

It's a sad fact for me that I putted better with both rented Versa putters than with my faithful Rossa. Now I will brood over the question if I should spend 30(!) or even 40(!!) bucks for a new putter!?!

You are the lucky man who can say "My putter is right for me!" and continue to improve your putting unspoilt!

I have the same max putter you do and I agree 100%, I am so used to having all those different meters to choose from going to anything else would be a complete overhaul.  Of the ones I did try i made more with the level 7? Oddysey than any of the higher level ones.  Evidently going beyond 4 dots of precision is wasted on me.

Hmmm, that's a new one, usually WGT waits to bend the shafts until the clubs have been purchased, ( I believe the term they use is "update").

    Doc :)
