I know I've been ranting & raving lately, but when you're game has suddenly gone out the door you are left scratching your head to what gone on you want answers?? Thanks without him even realizing to Notonthis for kicking my butt and for kicking me into gear. yes, not playing every hour of the day you might get "ring rust" so to say and forgetting the little things you used to remember on greens etc etc, but more simple than that, i noticed notonthis who is always winning ready go's not using the highest spec Nikes, and because i too only had 2 left and could not be bothered buy any after losing $40 to Notonthis i decided to use the lesser spec Nikes i had in my bag too which have been sitting there for months. When using the Nike clubs with high spin, high distance Nike balls my shots would sometimes come up 10 yards short, and yes, wgt DOES DEVIATE certain shots, but a lot had to do with the spin on clubs. Using lesser spin balls with the Nike's i started landing close to pin again and would have even scored 53 in $20 ready go if meter had not skipped a beat and i pressed late too on 40 yard approach. I dont know If It because Its Christmas and Vem?deviation machine has gone on holiday and wgt is laying off or It could be a simple fact that lesser spin balls deviate less in the first place and my yardages are nailed on like they were with R11's. Any way, 2 ready go's with low scores again and high $$ matchplay wins shows a little thing can go long ways and Its NOT ALL WGT's fault (only partial) but i might have a even more sinister result to why things have improved. I for the last few months had put the Vatican State as my flag so maybe the big golfer in the sky, reverse of Dog, might have been upset with this especially earning $$ by gambling in ready go's under his flag and the other kiddy fiddling priests (only a few) so now I'ts been changed miracilously my game has INSTANTLY Improved. Coincidence??? Is It the balls or Is it the flag change???
I have 3 excellent rounds, enter the oakmont back ready go and then things start going pear shaped once again so no matter what we do the final say in round scoring is left with WGT. A good score in one ready go does not give you the right to score the same again in another ready go Wgt spreads the love between all who can achieve It, but since the flag change even the bad round i got at Oakmont whilst writing this i was -2 at the 16th having sent tee shot astray into centre of green yet my 38 foot putt dropped for birdie and next hole a 30 yard approach went in for eagle so even my bad round turned good. I'm telling you, never ever fly the Vatican state flag as a gimmik, It will Kill your golf, gambling, enjoyment and SANITY!!
