i was wondering.. instead of having to use "mouse click 1" to hit your ball, can you change it to something else? i think it would help my game ALOT if i could press "spacebar" (or any other key) to hit my shots more accurately in the middle on the meter.. thanks

You can use the cursor keys on the numeric keypad instead of, or in conjunction with, the mouse. In order to do this you have to enable 'mouse keys'.

To enable them you can use the keyboard shortcut  Alt+Left Shift+Num Lock. If this doesn't work then you can switch them on via the control panel / ease of access / change how your keyboard works  and then you can switch on mouse keys with the check box at the top of the page.  When activated a mouse icon should appear in the system tray and if it has a small red 'X' on it then you need to hit the num lock key a few times to remove it.

You can then click on things in the game window with the mouse buttons and then drag stuff using the arrow keys on the numberpad. Or you can simulate a left or a right mouse click by using the Ins/0 or .Del keys. If you are used to using a mouse though its a bit like trying to ride a bicycle that goes left when you turn the handlebars to the right, aaargh!

thank you so much.. it actually works! BUT... theres 2 problems.. everytime i hit a shot with the "INS/0" key, it works, but, the menu (when i right click the screen with the mouse) pops up on the screen.. i was about to accept that fact but then when i try to hit another shot with the "INS/0" key it doesnt hit the ball.. im like huh? so i pressed the "Num Lock" key off, on, and off.. then boom, the "ISN/0" key works again but only for 1 time.. then i have to press the "Num Lock" key again.. a bit of a hassle.. any ideas? haha

I hardly ever use the mouse keys myself to be honest so you'll need to experiment with it. But look at the icon on the task bar, do the buttons change their shade at all when you press the cursor keys?  That might give a clue as to which ones are active.

Okay just done a bit of research and hopefully this might help.

Having played around with it a bit, you need to press the (and I'm using the notation of the diagram above which is the numeric keypad on your keyboard) 'left mouse button' and then the 'click' button to emulate a left click of your mouse or press the 'right mouse button' and then press the 'click' key to emulate a right mouse click.

The mouse keys icon on the task bar shows which mouse button is active by being shaded,  this is important to note as when you press the click key the response you get is determined by the active mouse button. The rest should be fairly straightforward
