  Hi,

  We usually use 20% of our 8,000mb download allowance over a month. Using WGT, which is an excellent golf game, we are going over our limit each month on ou satellite broadband. I do not want to upgrade at this time. Any idea how I overcome this?

  The game loads a lot of HD pictures + the ads. Possible reductions from

  - reduce Flash quality - try "low", usually "medium",

  - be sure NOT to clear caches when shutting down the browser (=> browser settings) - it would mean to reload items which would be there normally,

  - set both browser and Flash caches to high storage capacity.

  - play less, abort single play games which have no relevance to you,

  - avoid multiplayer games which require extra loading for all the shots of the other players.

  (? use an ad blocker; alas, I don't know if loading will be reduced or only display is affected)
