It's been a while now since the TruGolf courses darkened the WGT shores and while I realise, aesthetically they may not be too pleasing on the eye to many WGT members, they can be fun to play.

As WGT has now been utilizing these courses in it's own tournaments, would it be possible for country clubs to create tournaments on them ?  That is without each entrant having to pay the green fee.

It maybe an idea that a player creating a cc tournament on these courses can make a small payment so that everybody within the cc can play in the tournament.  I'd like to see them available at no cost but frankly I've given up on the idea that WGT is ever going to make these courses free for all.

^^ Yup and even have the host in an Alt game to pay, say 100 credits for all,

Once ppl play them, they might PAY to play them more often ?

Just wondering if people actually pay the green fees for these courses anymore.  Maybe the Newbies,  not sure.

I wouldn't mind paying the green fees for others.  Could be a good side bet for people to make...   you lose, then you pay the green fees.

Cabo has been around for awhile now...  that should be in CC's

or, I might get slammed here...lol

Bring in a new one,  then cut the green fees for Cabo.

While I have never been a big fan of these TruGolf courses, I can see one appeal to them, which is that the two so far are resort courses and are therefore designed to flatter the customers to some extent. Players can post some pretty low scores on these courses, lots of eagles with reachable par 5s and drivable par 4s etc.

Thanks for the prompt response, Icon.  I'm guessing contractual restrictions are a stumbling block.

On the flip side of the coin, when Tru Golf was first released, Wgt committed to at least 1 new curse every year. That statement was made because you said you would only be releasing 1 new Major a year, instead of the former 2.

We are still waiting for the new Tru Golf courses, and also the big hype Brandon Dunes course from last year.

It would be nice to hear why this is not occurring.

I know quite a few people don't like the Tru Golf courses.

One reason would be the green fees to play it,  But for most they hate the graphics of the game...   Cartoon Course is something I've heard many a time....lol.

Yes it is a cartoon course, unlike the normal Wgt courses...  but my thinking is... you still have your Avatar, Clubs and Golf Balls, Golf Bags on the screen you see every single round. The shots play the same for any course... some of the time terrible as norm for me....lol

Just saying...  We all play the Normal Wgt Courses...  do we look around at the sites when playing...  No.   Only in Multi Player Games we can have a look around what is on the screen.    Tru Golf or Wgt Course...   from Tee to Hole...  they are all the same...  Cartoon or great Graphics, Doesn't matter... we all play good or Shitehouse on any course......lol
