I'm currently using the WGT SD balls, mainly because they are affordable,  and seem to have good luck with them.   I routinely hit 275 to 300 yard drives and more if there is a little wind assist.  How much better could other balls be, especially when you consider they cost 3-4 times as much.  Thanks.

First off, I think that your club/ball combination is good.

With the price, usually spin and meter speed becomes better, as does the distance. The latter is double edged because it spoiles the distance charts.

Spin effects depend on the clubs used with the balls. Therefore, I suggest to have balls and clubs fit together - no use to waste credits on top balls with low level clubs. My personal rule of thumb is, "ball level should not be above club level". Thus and IMHO, for you only the Srixons or lvl 33 Callies will fit.

Edit: ... in addition to the SD /edit

I've been playing the SDs long time but I changed to these Callies eventually because they provide better spin while length and "feel" aren't too exaggerated, together with the price.

Be prepared to deal with deviation on missed hits with the better balls. They will undoubtedly help you BUT there's a price to pay for using balls with better attributes.

I made Legend with that SD ball, mostly because I liked the meter speed and you could get away with missing. It would really be tough to compete now using that ball.

I agree with Alosso-the 33 Callaway is a decent move and would work well for you. GL

Use the retriever balls. When they go in the water they are brought back to you. Or listen to the above advice.

You can add the level 35 Callies to that short list. After all his clubs with the exception of the 3 wood are all at level 35 or higher.

The level 35 Callie has 1 dot more distance and 1 dot less spin. 2 1/2 dots of spin is in most instances more than enough and causes a smaller amount of deviation on mishits with full B/S. And it only costs 50 credits more.
