Just recently got to playing this game.Although i have played good at times(comparatilvly speaking)with some scores in the low 70's.I have just reached the level 33 and am finding out how much harder it is due to the fact that the tee box markers have been moved back.

I have been playing with the standard issued clubs, and while in the amatuer rank i was finding it impossible to reach some of the par four's in two(drive of 250 yards)still left me with a distance of over 210-220 on some, the par five's ...forget getting there in two.Now that i have "ranked up" the par four's are even more difficult. Also, the backspin feature has no effect with my current ball and or clubs.

The game forces you to buy new clubs,so my question is for all that have moved up and have bought new clubs.

Any and all insight as to which clubs are being played and what clubs are good .What ball gives the best spin, what driver is long etc...etc....

Thank you much with your input.

You are at level 33 so I would buy the Taylor made set (level 32) then get rid of the hybrid and put in a 3rd wedge to cover the short game.

Good set and will last you a long time and help to improve your game.

Aren't you too fast my friend?

Lou needs custom wedges ##1 and 2 before adding a 3rd, and there's hardly any to recommend at lvl 33.

+1 for the R11 set but wait for the ATVs (lvl 38) or Pings (lvl 42) to buy any wedges. And if money is a concern, buy only the 3WD - a budget alternative to a driver.

Balls: Start with WGT B-ES balls if you agree with constant spendings - they wear and get lost. Next proposal would be the WGT Tour-SD.

Putter: No buy below 500 crs.

It's a long road louie and a tough game to learn but I think alosso has given you some great pointers to get going.

My first upgrade was a driver followed by 2 wedges and a half decent putter. It depends if you want to spend or not?

I've progressed on free credits so it's taken me a while, but it can be a rewarding game (not financially!) when you improve.

Good luck and if I can help at all send me a friend request, i'll try

Either follow the advice of Alosso or get a long hitting driver and wait until you reach the Master tier where you'll definitely need new clubs. It's all too easy in this game to make regular club changes only to see that they need updating again in a month or two.
