    KLambgolf:

Been contemplating even wasting my time to share my experience with this game, but I do at times enjoy playing.

My background.  Golf Course Superintendent with 25+ years in the business.  Out on a golf course 5-6 days a week.  Been golfing even longer.

I guess my observation after playing this game for a while (Pro Level 33) is I keep expecting the game to be somewhat realistic.  Wind inconstantly affects shot flight.  Long irons stopping in 5 yds.  Wedge shots rolling out 20-25 yds after landing on the green. Different off fwy lies showing a percentage of what to expect of conditions to affect your shot and very rarely being accurate.  Are my expectations unrealistic?  Maybe.  I just see potential with this that will probably never be realized.  Probably issues that are over my head...algorithms and things like that.

I do enjoy the graphics which are obviously from actual photographs.  I can even tell which courses were aerated, sand topdressed, no clean-up pass from greens mowing and other details which is kinda cool.

Just venting, but never going to spend any money on this.

Hope everyone else enjoys the game.

    Where is the Product Suggestion?

Yes, you are being unrealistic. It's an online game and you have to play it like it is, not the way you want it to be.

Many players (Legend. Tour Legend) have to play the longest tees, are accorded the least allowance for error, have to putt on the fastest green, but still have scoring averages well below par.

Sorry.  I'm the chump.  I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on.  Sorry for stepping out of line.

One thing that is consistent here is experienced players who feel the need to dismiss other players and their opinions and observations.

I was not dismissing, just pointing that what you are seeing is part of the design.

It would not be a very good business practice to let you have the perfect play for free, surely your course is not free as well.

I was just trying to say the game gets better if you get better stuff.
