    iconian:

I don't think you guys are going to like me after this round.

Well, after a quick look to the leaderboard I should say either I was lucky or I was playing a different course. I saved a double bogey at #2 and I had a stupid bogey at #9, to turn front 9 in 37.

Bogey-free back nines (and this something miraculous 29 ft. birdie at #12) with birdies at #13 and #17 led me to final -1 (69).

15/18 green in regulation helped me a lot, but I was so scared about the green speed that I was short most of time in uphill birdie attempts.

Anyway, some more uneven experience in "insane fast" (lol) green and another nice tourney. Good luck to the rest of the field. :)

I promised to finish if ever I entered again.

You got me SweetiePie ... I promised not to enter again.   Things are just so boring on WGT that I had to .. good thing I did .. made a total of 30 people in it.

By the way .. your right on top of me   (in the standings).

Please, hear my plea...I swear I read a post by bloshoe stating that this outing was in the crapper after round two...I was ready to continue...even read about Jack the Ripper and watched the movie "Monster" about Eileen Wournos...then the bloshoe post..I plead for forgiveness...Oh, and Lou, on top is a winner, so I'm told.

I just wanted to thank Icon and Shoe for these tournaments. Even though I didn't score very well, I had loads of fun and what a great challenge!  Keep 'em comin'  fellas.

    Thanks Guys,

    Dan

Now I know why they have to use a level when they install a billiard table....those greens were wild!

I triple-bogeyed the 2nd hole and only took 2 putts to do it.  There just happened to be a few wedge shots stuck in between those putts....    ;-)

Once again, thanks to Icon and Shoe for putting this on.  What a phenomenal challenge to even get anywhere close to par on that last round.  Daskino's 69 is awesome!  Anyone that feels this game has become easy for them.....needs to play Oakmont in those conditions.

    Nice work fellas,

    Jerm

    @emmalinks - excellent shot!  (and round...)      :-)

TYVM Jerm, your 71 is a great score too in that kind of conditions. Very nicely done (and Emma does an amazing shot at #2 & overall round in even par).

BTW, The 2010 US Open qualifier course, when most of us played with R9 + Rapture + GI-SD Balls in Championship tees & Tourney green for the first time, was nothing compared to this one. It would have been very challenging in even lie too.
