  I have played some of the "Something Special" rounds and have enjoyed the challenge of the different green speeds. I am currently running a tournament within our CC. I was wondering if it would be possible to some how set up a 3 day tournament, to play one 18 hole round, with those super fast greens, within the CC or some other way?

  I can Answer that.... Sorry.

  The Answer is no...  you can only set green speeds to the ones in the CC Green Speed List when you set up a comp.

  What you can do though,  is get your cc members to enter the same Special Wgt comp and use the scores they post from there.

  I am certainly not Icon (MUCH better looking than him) but the answer is no. However I  believe  that this is a feature that MAY be available to CC's in the future.

   Yeah I thought about having them play the one that is going, but each round is only 1 day long now. I don't think I could get them all to play it in one day.

  And I think that would be a great idea for CC to have those choices for green speeds.

  About 16 years ago Shoe was offering CC's the chance to set up funny  comps he said he would choose 3 different cc's a month ??? What ever happened there ?

  As a CC member,  we had the privilege of hosting a tournament on the crazy greens, courtesy of Shoe.  However, Shoe is currently enjoying a post holiday vacation visiting several golf courses along the way,  hopefully,  to report back to Chad.

  I'm sure Shoe can be accommodating on his return.

  Pretty much what they said. 

  Shoe has to manually set these up. It cost me a foot rub to get those going, so when he is back (later this week), maybe dinner and a movie will work for him:)
