How about this as an addition.
Firstly why not inform your current players that you are now linking the apps and the main game.
There was me sat on the sofa on Saturday thinking I would have a quick mess around on the ipad and I go onto WGTs app. It tells me there's an update and I download it. Not thinking about it I click to play a CTTH just to try it out. The avatar is not the same as the full game and there is no option button so I think things are not really fully connected and so play a couple of holes, but trying to hit the line was impossible so I shut the game down after 2 holes.
On sunday in the evening I finally get a chance to play my first proper game of the weekend. I log on and and see that I have a red light on, go into the game screen and see that I have a game open and thinking nothing of it shut the game down as it wouldn't be anything important. I play an 18 holer and it occurs to me that the the IOA tournament must have entered its single play stage.
I am sure you can guess what is coming......
I GO INTO THE CTTH TOURNAMENT LISTINGS AND CLICK ON IOA AND IT SAYS I HAVE FORFEITED. THE GAME I WAS ALLOWED TO PLAY ON THE IPAD APP WAS THE ACTUAL IOA FINAL ROUND SINGLE PLAY AND I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA. MY AVATAR WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND THERE ARE NO GAME OPTIONS AVAILABLE. SO I HAVE SPENT 3 WEEKS AND 5 PACKETS OF BALLS GETTING MYSELF IN A GOOD POSITION ONLY TO BE ****** ** *** **** ONCE AGAIN. I HAVE RECEIVED A PACKED OF BALLS AS COMPENSATION BUT AS YOU MAY UNDERSTAND I AM VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY ANNOYED.
