    alanti:
The the minor tweaking required by the programmers would not take long but we are talking about a company that will only make changes if there is a buck to be made.

Erm, Andyson didn't have enough room to show the fenced perimeter and the coin operated (takes dollar bills) gate to get in.  :-D

    ^^^ WGT speak for..........

    Thanks for the comments Icon!

This is an enhancement to the game.  Not unlike UEL was an enhancement to increase the challenge of the game which in turn keeps players interested and keeps them playing.  Keeping 'em interested and playing means more balls bought and more ad revenue generated.  This is just like a new course increases interest and IMO pays for itself over the long haul with player retention.

I was thinking RealGreens would be used in tournaments and ranked rounds, not necessarily in multi-player.  Right now, we get into a tournament and know it's Tournament greens so we have our number to use. ( Maybe not in a RG, or so I hear)

Implementing a slight variance per green further increases the challenge.

Add this idea to the mix:

TrueFairways!  They don't always bounce and roll the same! Sometimes they're dry and hard, sometimes normal, sometimes wet, and sometimes soggy (no need for lift, clean and replace).  And RealGreens would coincide with those conditions.  Dew on the greens?  That burns off after 5 or 6 holes.  That means the need for some weather info on the tournament.  Or course condition info.

And while I'm at it.....Whistler golf course is at about 2500 ft elevation, I should need to adjust the effective yardage of my clubs to account for the elevation.  Why not?  I think that would be easy for the programmers.  Just a constant offset for the clubs on Whistler.

All GREAT ideas. WGT should put this guy to work. I'm sure he could also figure out how to get a few more bucks out of the regulars.
