I've noticed on some holes, it switches camera angle as you chip onto the green. But on others, it doesn't (One of the NTTP's at Wolf Creek's like that... your chip goes up over the ridge, out of view... Sometimes it says the ball's finished in the rough - even though according to the green map... what rough?!?).

Anyway, wouldn't it be great if you can change (and fix) the camera angle before you take your shot?  I can do this on putts but not, it seems, for chipping.

I wondered if you might be able to use the spacebar to change the view but I just tried it and you can't.

I'm afraid we're suck with whatever view the director decides is best.

I most cases you have at least 2 angles - from near or where the ball is , and from the other end, behind the hole. You can also usually. putt from either angle, and which ever angle you do putt from uses the break that angle shows. So if less break is shown from one of the 2 angles you may want to putt with that being the active angle.

You also have 2 green grid displays you can use - the fixed putting grid, and the movable 20 foot by 20 foot Chip/Pitch shot mode putting green grid that is attached to and centered on the aim point.

In Chip/Pitch shot mode left click and hold your cursor on the aim point box/point to see the grid and to move it. You get the most accurate read when you position the grid so  the ball and the hole are in the same grid column. just don't forget to set your aim point where you want it for the putt. Some players purposely miss the ding to compensate for break on the green, some set the aim point some distance to the side of the hole, some do both and/or a combination of the 2.
