I won the January Multi-round open Oakmont and BOH. I will be getting 4,000 credits, along with 900 I already have and a couple other tourneys I placed in the money in I will have over 5,000 credits soon.

What should I do with the credits? Save them until I am a higher level? What club(s) should I be upgrading soon? Is the ball I use good for my level/ clubs?

    Thanks!

    Congratulations Aaron!!

Hold on to what you've got until you gain a few more levels. You've already got a great driver & otherwise 'adequate clubs' for your Level.

I recommend holding on until L 79 when you can pick up the TM Rocket Bladez - according to others (better players) they were the second most accurate irons (before the high level Nikes).

I would recommend the 'high level' Cleveland wedges (when you hit L76-78) - these are accurate to within 1 yard or 2 if you pay attention. - Some say that the higher level ATV's are good - but when you look at what the Tour Legends and monthly tournament winners have in their bags - (no surprise) they have the Clevelands. Drop the Hybrid & pick up a 4th Wedge.

I don't (particularly) advocate "sandbagging" but you might want to consider more practice rounds. Ranked rounds (as those in monthly tournaments) count toward your average. When your average hits 61 & you have the appropriate number of ranked rounds - you're going to get promoted to Legend.  Search in the "SEARCH" box to the right and read the tears of people who have pushed themselves into the Legend ranks, without a high enough 'Level' to qualify for better equipment. Until WGT makes our equipment more dependent upon "Tier" and less on "Level" - you screw yourself by advancing too soon! (I know that some purist is going to have heartburn over my last remark - but I'm getting too old to lie!!)

Nice job - keep it up!!

Congrats!!!! I would get a better putter (can't recommend one, as I suck at putting), and get a 3rd wedge (ditch the hybrid). The rest of your equipment is as good as there is, I think (assuming you have the level 48 TM driver-just caught a glance).
