So for Legend........."Up to the 500th round" all "ranked rounds" AND the "Best of Par 5" and "Best of Par 3" rounds count toward the 500 BUT after that, from round 501 on, each additional round UNLESS IT EXCEEDS YOUR HIGHEST REMAINING SCORE AND IS NOT FROM THE BEST OF PAR 5 AND BEST OF PAR 3 is counted.

    Have I got this right?

I don't think we're talking the same thing.

During the 500 round buildup, does the total for Bof3/5 count as one of the 500? I know they are not calculated in the average or as totals in rounds 501 on.

i dont think they count towards the average during the 500 they do count as ranked but idk if that would apply to the 500

    How would the calculation be with your proposal? An example: 400 scores of 65 totalling 26000 strokes plus 50 Par3/5 games, average = 26000 / 450 = 57.78 ?

    Or, one eligible 80 score plus 399 Par3/5s, 80 / 400 = 0.5 average?

    Certainly not!

IMHO, there is no "buildup". The program collects up to 500 of your best eligible scores, continuously calculating averages, and when the number is full AND the average is 60.000 or less, you are promoted. Par3/5 scores aren't eligible at any time!
