I cant comment too much on TWO as I did not play it much, for me it was very "cartoony" and did not appeal.
The positives were the course array and the little things like the stance/shot shaping play. But it it was very easy to score well, and like I said, I hardly played much but could score well.
Development is ongoing albeit slowly, to photograph a course takes hundreds of thousands of photos on top of the contractual negotiations and programmers time. Like most of us, we want more that the one course per year that we have been getting.
So if it came to "fantasy courses" it is a no thanks from me. This is the real difference in WGT and any other game, the realism.
Yes pricing is expensive, but value for money I personally think it is good value and bear in mind many players have top equipment without ever actually spending a dime via the free offers (if you don't currently do them, start!)
That said do not buy clubs at early levels and get advice, early purchases are wasted IMO as before you know it, you will need to upgrade - so take a breath and ask the forum for advice( unless you have money to burn).
I did not make an upgrade for a year, finally hit master using starters equipment and needed to upgrade. Luckily I had earned enough credits to do so, then realized how much easier the game got with better sticks. With hindsight I would have upgraded earlier and possibly had more enjoyment, but I did do the hard yards and possibly became better for it.
Make your main focus enjoyment and you cant go wrong.
