  This is a kind of suggestion for those guys who have the ability to organize a tournament. At this time there are several in progress, in particular those organized by Carlo and Michael.

  What I would suggest is the creation of a reverse pyramid tournament with playoffs, and of course in match play. The discretion lies in the fact that the two contenders will be able to decide whether to play in challenge mode, recommended in cases where there is little budget for any prize, or scored, the only obligation is to play with a time limit of 30 seconds. You could chat with your pard as good as you can do the same in the board message.

  It 'a simple idea, I hope someone like it.

  It's been several months since I opened this thread, it's been too many discussions where the community of WGT asked how to prevent and combat the problem of cheaters.

  I wonder if it really is "time" the key to stem scourge of cheaters in WGT (not excluded from faults), a tournament with limited time may lay bare some of the players and the top players on their playing ability, for better or for worse, their real skills. After years of experience, the average time to hit the ball in any condition, is about 20 seconds so it shouldn't be a problem challenge other players in a 30 seconds match play or even a tour.

  Once again, it's a simple idea, I hope someone like it.

    I agree 100% it would cure the cheating..There are to many everywhere using aids from other sites and i my self consider this wrong..Game should be played with putter .or shot pal only as a aid..There should be a time of max 45 seconds for all ranked rounds.and tourneys,,Then have unlimited times for practice only,,. Just wish we could all play fair I have for over 5000 rounds..Thanks for bringing this up ,,Ron

  Interesting view. The great nivlac ( calvin - WGTniv) one of the best ever here, who wrote the putting method of avatar movements that many use, once said that when he played in serious "for keeps" mode, it was not at all uncommon for him to take over a minute to prepare "everything" before hitting the shot...most of it to prepare his "mind" ~ SP ~
