    Must be....lol

I was just going through the Wgt golf balls...  trying to get the specs of one of them compared with others for a friend of mine.

Then there it was...  Wgt Starter balls and priced at 100crs....lol

Edit.....  Surely they cannot mean that Wgt will get rid of the Free balls after a certain amount of time of use....    no, my thinking is a bit too far fetched there....lol

These are grossly  overpriced  starters balls and with the exception of a slower meter have seemly have no attributes. Seem the old adage, there a sucker born every minute.

But I would be interested to hear from anyone who has purchased these to get their review.

2.3 times the price of GI-D balls (44 crs) and lower performance in distance and durability - who should buy them?

Wonder what is the dodge with this overpriced item.

IMO, all balls are over priced, that is not the unlimited free balls.

If you're referring to the WGT Starter Balls (Slow Meter) (L1+), then I have some input.  I actually purchased these balls by accident almost a year ago now.  I made a post about the balls then and I've now posted a more clear-headed statement with a better perspective and understanding about the subject here.

    I agree to alanti.

IMHO, "slow meter" is the only possible worthwile feature, and this causes the price. In most cases, it will serve as a sort of starter drug to the expensive "slow meter" path in this game. AFAIS, slow meter clubs and high feel balls cost more than other equipment and their performance is lower, frequently. Would be better to learn the faster meter.

I use these balls when I play CTTH games (seldom) from notes I made when I started and was stuck with the "real" starter ball. It helps.
