    Someone please explain to me the meter ratings for pro shop clubs and balls. If i prefer a slower moving swing meter do i choose clubs with a higher number or lower number meter rating? How about ball meter ratings, does a higher or lower meter rating slow the swing meter rate? This may seem like a dumb question but i'm having trouble putting a club and ball combination that fits my desire for a slow predictable swing meter speed. Should i simply buy equipment that is described as having a slow meter?Any help would be greatly appreciated, THANKS!

    The higher the Swing Meter number, whether on a ball or club, means the slower the meter will react.

    I'm sure I missed the post that explained the reasoning for going to this system. The other seemed to be working fine, but appreciate the answer 'cause I wondered the same thing.

    What does that number represent as for as time? Is 5.   5seconds ? 3.5    3.5 seconds?

    In other words it would take 5 seconds for the swing meter to get to the ding line once it is released. Is that what the number represents???????

    Some say that there is no difference in contents to the representation before.

    one dot => "1"

    two dots => "2"

    ...

    five dots => "5"

    We might get the opportunity to see a "6" or more in the future, presenting more options to improve the equipment and the cash flow :)

    I assume that the resulting characteristics are as arbitrary as they were before, would not consider any physical units related.

    More reading but possibly more confusion too.
