I venture to say you do not need to change our screen resolution. Let's isolate the problem by asking the right questions;
Is your desktop or browser screen completely extending outside your monitors borders?
Or is your browser window enlarged to the point it is extending past the monitor or it is just fine on the top and sides but it is behind the window task bar at the bottom and the task bar is covering part of the meter?
If that is the case then you can do one of three things;
A. reduce your browser screen so it fits the monitor top, sides and the bottom of it is above the task bar.
B. right click on your task bar. Go to properties and check auto hide so your task bar will be out of the way unless your mouse cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen and it unhides.
C. Move your task bar to the side of your monitor while playing the game.
